Abbey House Gardens

With the 12th Century Abbey as a backdrop, in the middle of a photogenic medieval market town with it’s amazing market cross and straddling the River Avon, this truly spectacular 5 acre garden has brought praise from around the world.

These are just some of the comments from our visitors book: "I thought I’d seen all the best gardens in the world – until now!" "The loveliest truly English garden on the planet!" "This garden alone made my visit to the UK worthwhile!"

The gardens and its environs have many elements to fulfill a moviemakers dream.
There are monastic fish ponds, waterfall, stepping stones and a wooden footbridge across the river, woodland walks, arbours, rose covered walkways, knot gardens, lawns surrounded by thousands of roses (hundred of thousands of tulips in Spring), distant views across the valley to the horizon.
