Film Makers will find a warm and personal welcome to the lush Somerset countryside at The Devonshire Arms, a Grade II listed former hunting lodge, set on an idyllic village green.
Step inside and you'll find an unexpectedly contemporary style, with an emphasis on quality. Our friendly staff are always on hand to ensure your visit is an enjoyable one, whether it's just for a pint in the bar or a relaxed meal from our locally sourced and daily changing menu. You can also drink and dine al fresco in our courtyard, large walled garden or overlooking the green at the front. There are nine bedrooms, all individually designed in a fresh modern style, each with its own en-suite facilities and wide-screen TV. The Devonshire Arms is a very interesting film location in it's own right, however there are many others in the area that are available whilst staying at The Devonshire Arms and they include The Fleet Air Arm Museum; Cheddar Gorge; Wookey Hole; Longleat; Muchelney Abbey; Montacute House; Tintinhull Garden; Lytes Cary Manor and Haynes Motor Museum. The Devonshire Arms would make the ideal Unit Base whilst Filming in the area.
