Grace Dieu Manor School
Grace Dieu Manor is built in the Tudor Gothic Style and set in 120 acres of beautiful grounds and farmland in the heart of Charnwood Forest in Leicestershire. Originally built in 1833 and designed by William Railton as a private family home it is now an independent day school. Further enhancements have been made over the years, notably those in the chapel by the famous medieval gothic architect, Augustus Welby Pugin and a grand oak staircase designed by Sir Banister Fletcher which is flanked by stunning stone archways in the main hall. The interior has a wealth of features including an oak panelled study and meeting room. The original stone mullion windows ensure authentic atmosphere and sense of style. The chapel is a little gem with its beautiful stained glass windows, its own bell tower and balcony and intricately carved rood-screens.
