The Hood Arms

The Hood Arms is a 17th century coaching Inn, situated on the A39 at the foot of the Quantock Hills, close to the spectacular fossil beach at Kilve. The Quantock scenery is wild and was the first area of our standing natural beauty, the coast is full of dramatic scenery. Sandy beaches or Jurassic. There are many local Hunts, also shooting & fishing locally.

The Pub has 12 ensuite bedrooms, four poster’s & sleigh beds. There are also some cottage rooms down a cobbled alley way. Stag Lodge is in the courtyard garden with 2 fabulous bedrooms and stylish sitting room. The front of the pub is also cobbled, with large coaching doors which were the old stables. The garden is large mainly walled, with a court yard area full of plants, tables & umbrellas.
