The Mill House

A 16th Century house beside the Mill Dam in Beaulieu providing traditional Bed and Breakfast (B and B) in the centre of the New Forest. With 1 double and 2 twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms.
It has a wonderful riverside location and is one of the oldest houses in Beaulieu. Ideally situated for access to the New Forest with the National Motor Museum and Palace House a short walk away.
The house is part of the Beaulieu estate, In front of the house is the Mill Dam, a large lake surrounded with reeds and grassy banks. To the rear of the house and overlooked from the breakfast patio is the Beaulieu River which is tidal and provides a beautiful and constantly changing view.
At the rear is the old dairy. This octagonal building was built centuries ago for storing milk and butter. It was used as a pill box during the second world war. Its strategic location at the head of the Beaulieu river made it an ideal defensive position.
