The Muckleburgh Collection
Set in 300 acres of beautiful grounds on the North Norfolk coast, the Muckleburgh Collection is a Museum with Britain's largest working Military collection, housed in the former Ack-Ack NAAFI.
There has been a fortification on the site since 1588 and the saying goes, "He who doth old England win, must at Weybourne, hope begin" - this is due to the depth of the sea just off the coast, which has enabled Army exercises using landing craft. There is a grass airfield adjacent to the museum, which is used extensively in the summer by private pilots. The Army too has landed helicopters here.
Since the Museum's inception 13 years ago we have carefully restored tanks and other military vehicles, to date we have 16 working tanks, and other guns and vehicles, which are available for film work.
The land is privately owned and the public has no right of way, making it very attractive to those companies, wishing for complete privacy.
We also have a Restaurant catering for those with particular requirements.
