Location
The Poppy Line is one of the most scenic heritage steam railways in Britain. It runs for almost six miles between the seaside resort of Sheringham and the Georgian market town of Holt, in North Norfolk, around 140 miles from London – offering spectacular views of coast and countryside. The beautiful big skies and subtly changing light of Norfolk are a film maker's delight. There are three Victorian stations, oozing with atmosphere and vividly evoking the heyday of the steam railway.
