Taunton School
Taunton School is situated just outside the beautiful English market town of Taunton and is only a few miles away from the stunning countryside of the Blackdown and Quantocks Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The School was founded in 1847 and boasts a fine range of high quality 18th Century, Gothic Style buildings complemented by 19th Century additions such as the splendid Chapel which was built in 1907 and seats 300 and the Theatre that under went a major refit in 1995. Many of Taunton School's buildings offer an ideal setting for period and modern dramas as well as an ideal unit base for those working at nearby sites.
