British Airways i360

External shots of British Airways i360 show the urban-style tower reaching into the clouds and the giant glass pod which has a mirrored underside and ringed lights beneath. These modern features contrast with two Victorian-style reconstructed West Pier tollbooths, which now house our tea room and ticket office.

At night, the pod and tower are lit in red, white and blue. The lights at the top of the tower fade and strengthen in a subtle rhythm which echoes human breathing. Inside the pod, lights are kept low for night flights, so that passengers can appreciate the carpet of twinkling city lights below as they enjoy a glass of sparkling wine.

With excellent travel links from London, British Airways i360 and the surrounding scenery are easily accessible for a film crew. Production managers should note the numerous hotels in the vicinity for visiting crews, with parking also available nearby.
