Carn Du House
Built in 1912 for a French sea captain who clearly wanted to feel as close to the sea as he could, Carn Du is an Edwardian villa which comfortably sleeps 12 with free WiFi throughout. The principal rooms all have panoramic views of the Atlantic from Penzance, Mount's Bay and the Lizard to the rocky coastline which stretches west towards Lamorna and Land's End.There is a large family kitchen with an Aga and smeg range oven, a spacious dining room, a sitting room with a log fire and a sun room which all open into one another creating a wonderful sense of light and space.
A cottage, which sleeps 4 can be rented with the main house or separately. It has a large open-plan sitting room/dining room/kitchen, with a wood-burning stove. Upstairs there is a bathroom and two double bedrooms (one with a balcony). All rooms look over the sea. There is an outdoor, heated infinity pool (7m x 4m) open from the Spring up until October 30th, located in the garden.
