Deer Park Country House Hotel
In what many regard the most beautiful part of Devon; eight miles from the coast, in the ancient Parish Buckerell, the Deer Park may be found. It is 15 minutes off the M5, 20 minutes from Exeter Airport, and a short hop from the nearby train station.Inside the Georgian walls of The Deer Park Country House Hotel, history doesn’t just echo; it booms. Large fireplaces, mahogany, a vast sweeping staircase and an original leaded window in the bar mentioned in the hotel’s Grade 2 listing are just some features of this quintessentially English Country House. It includes a 1930s Chevrolet Universal Phaeton featured in a Poirot film - the only one of its kind in the country, and a 1958 Jaguar that was the official car for the press release and was present at the Geneva Motorshow in 1957.
