Parsonage FarmParsonage Farm is an old English farmhouse dating back to medieval times with additions throughout history. It has a wealth of beams throughout and interesting period features. It is entirely furnished in authentic furniture and artefacts no more modern than 1700, except for one room furnished in a 19th Century Chinese style. The oldest furniture (as featured on the Antiques Roadshow in 2017) dates back to c.1485.
It offers five bedrooms in the main house three with four poster beds dating between 1490 and 1675 and a further two in the next door cottage. In total the house has 8 beds across 7 bedrooms.
The gardens feature an accurate reproduction of medieval herb and pleasure garden on one side and early Tudor (Henry VIII) knot garden on the other. In addition, a late Tudor knot garden (Elizabeth I) is scheduled to be completed by 2019.
