Hoscote Estate
Hoscote Estate is set in a 450 acre site in the heart of the Scottish Borders with magnificent views over open countryside.As well as the extensive south facing lawns surrounding Hoscote House there is a beautiful Walled Garden as well as many open and varied natural areas throughout the estate.
In recent years a new fishing pond has been developed on the west side of the estate as a haven for local wildlife. Running through the estate close to a natural wildlife area is the Borthwick Water river. The remainder of the estate is made up of grassland and woodland and thanks to a red squirrel conservation project this threatened species now thrives again here at Hoscote. Walking trails exist throughout the estate which also adjoins the Craik Forest located in the Southern Uplands and included in the Forests of the Scottish Borders.
